Gratidudes

As many of you know, I recently returned from the Palomar5 experience in Berlin. After getting back from the intense 7 week creative binge, it took a couple weeks to get myself grounded and back into the flow of things in Victoria…..thus causing me to have a major lack in the financial sector.

The last week and a bit I have been working hard on getting myself prepared for the New Year with many exciting projects to come. However as reality closes in on me, I realized I’m not even close to aligning with my end of year money commitments. Ever been there before???

My girlfriend (Ally), who is also in the same position as me, and I; rather than to sit around and complain about how broke we were, decided to make a fun adventure out of it! We set off this afternoon and went door to door to meet all of the neighbors in our neighborhood. We introduced ourselves and asked each of them if they had any odds-and-ends around the house they needed done. Being the Holiday Season, we figured people may want a break from the hustle and bustle.

Believe me, even for an extrovert such as myself and an entrepreneur who has taken many risks, this definitely got me out of my comfort zone and made me swallow some pride and be humble.

However, rather than being embarrassed about not having much money right now, Ally and I made this whole thing into a positive experience. We made the entire afternoon about being able to be of service to those who live around us. We gave ourselves the opportunity to open up to the Universe and receive from unexpec
